Adrienne Maloof Slams Brandi Glanville For ‘Crossing The Line’
Things got heated on the last episode of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” when cast mate Brandi Glanville accused Adrienne Maloof and her husband, Paul Nassif, of “lying” about their family, and now Maloof is returning the favor.
Although Bravo edited out Glanville’s most titillating remarks about the family secret she claimed Maloof and Nassif had been hiding from everyone, speculation instantly popped up on gossip sites all over the internet: some bloggers theorized that Brandi might have had information about Maloof and Nassif’s marriage, which came to and end almost immediately after the season wrapped up.
But the majority of internet commenters speculated that Glanville had accused Maloof of using a surrogate to have her three sons and repeatedly lying about it after the fact. Now that the episode has finally aired, Maloof is addressing the altercation, claiming Glanville “crossed the line,” but refused to discuss exactly what the comments were.
"She seems to be addicted to attention and keeping herself relevant, and I think that’s her goal,” Maloof said in an interview with People magazine. “Her antics have crossed the line for me."
While Maloof continued to sidestep exactly what Brandi had said that had provoked so much outrage, she insinuated that Brandi’s comments had violated the privacy of her children.
"I keep my children out of the limelight and I don’t speak about my children," said Maloof. "It's something you don’t even want to address. They deserve to have their privacy, and I am giving my children their privacy. As a mother I do what I can to protect my children and my family."
Glanville in turn, responded to Adrienne’s comments in a blog post on Bravo’s website. "I said something I shouldn't have said and I am sorry and I now regret it," she wrote. "I know, it's shocking right? My mouth gets me in a lot of trouble, but this time I've pissed off the wrong rich person. It is so frustrating when Adrienne or her people say something about me that isn't true or discuss me as a parent, I think she has met my kids one time."
When Glanville was asked to go into more detail about what she had said, she replied, “I can’t [talk about it]! Her [Adrienne's] lawyers made Bravo take it out and me not talk about it.”
