Adult Actress Dana DeArmond Accuses TJ Miller Of Sexual Harassment
Dana DeArmond, an adult film actress, posted a couple of tweets Tuesday in which she accused stand-up comedian and actor T.J. Miller of sexually harassing her during shooting of a Comedy Central show. DeArmond also accused the director of the Comedy Central show “Mash Up,” Jordan Vogt-Roberts, of kissing her without her consent after filming the episodes, according to a report by Vulture, an entertainment news website.
In the first tweet, DeArmond stated she was harassed by Miller and Vogt-Roberts both. She also referred to Miller being an “a------ for years.”
In the second tweet she recollected the incident which happened with Vogt-Roberts. She wrote he came close to her in order to kiss her and when she said “no thank you”, he replied saying “don’t make this weird” and kissed her without her consent.
Miller on Tuesday was subjected to another allegation of sexual and physical assault by a woman who chose to remain anonymous.
According to a report by Daily Beast, the woman said she was hit and sexually assaulted by Miller during college days in George Washington University.
In the report, the woman stated, “He [Miller] just tried a lot of things without asking me, and at no point asked me if I was all right. … He choke[d] me, and I kept staring at his face hoping he would see that I was afraid and [that he] would stop… I couldn’t say anything.”
The woman came forward with the accusation now because of the widespread allegations of sexual assault and harassment that are taking place within the entertainment industry, the report added.
Matt Lord, an ex-boyfriend of the woman who attended George Washington University from 2000-03 reportedly, said in a statement, “I had a romantic relationship with [this] woman, who spoke with me about T.J. Miller sexually assaulting her.”
“At the time I believed the statements she made regarding the assault by Mr. Miller, and I continue to believe the statements she made are true. She was engaged in student conduct proceedings regarding the sexual assault, and I remember the emotional toll that the assault and the subsequent conduct hearings placed on her,” he added.
In a post on Twitter, Miller’s wife, Kate T. Miller, refuted the allegations which were made by un-named woman in a joint statement.
Kate wrote she and Miller met the woman a decade ago and that she tried to break their relationship. The statement also said the woman tried to pit Kate and Miller against one another by using Kate as an abuse victim of Miller.
The statement added the woman was using the current atmosphere in the entertainment industry for her “false accusations.”
The Daily Beast report also stated according to sources in the comedy industry, Miller had joked about his violent behavior with women in the past. Some female stand-up comedians and professionals also reportedly said they refused to work with Miller due to his history of abusive behavior.
