Adventurous Job Offer: Explore Your State This Summer. Get Paid $1,000
Cell phone search engine WhistleOut is looking for the adventurous type to fill the role of chief adventure officer this summer, and it will pay the lucky job seeker $1,000 in return.
Those interested in the job will get paid to “explore the nature their own state has to offer,” WhistleOut said.
If hired, the chief adventure officers will need to plan a trip to a scenic outdoor destination in their state and take “captivating photos” of the nature surrounding them using a new phone provided to you. The photos would also need to be shared on their social media accounts.
“If you’re the type of person that stays behind to snap the perfect phone pic of your view or even simply enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, you’re perfect to apply for the job!” WhistleOut said in its job announcement.
The selected chief adventure officer will receive a new smartphone (priced up to $1,000) for picture taking, $1,000 in cash, and $500 reimbursement for expenses such as travel, food, park fees, and outdoor gear needed to complete the job.
To apply, job candidates can fill out an application on WhistleOut’s website. Here, they’ll need to tell why they feel they are the right person for the “dream job.”
Applications must be completed by 5 p.m. on May 21.
Winners will be announced during a live streaming event on WhistleOut’s YouTube channel on May 28 at 11 a.m. PST. The winner will also be notified via email after the live announcement, where they will have seven days to accept the job offer.
All job applicants must be at least 18 to apply and eligible to work in the U.S.
