Representatives of the two ex-lovers---Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio confirmed to Us Weekly on Oct. 4 that the ex-lovers’ five-month dating had ended, but the couple will “remain friends.”

The two famous stars DiCaprio, 36, and Lively, 24, made effort to keep their summer affairs out of public’s sight. However, they could not do it successfully.

Dicaprio and Lively were found in close relationship with each other aboard Steven Spielberg’s yacht at the Canners Film Festival last May. Not too long later, the “Titanic” star and his former girlfriend Bar Raeli, who is a supermodel, broke up.

During the summer, Dicaprio and Lively were spotted in Italy, Australia and California. And at last they were photographed biking together in New York.

The reports of these two stars separation come suddenly and no reason was given to explain.

DiCaprio had dated a supermodel named Bar Refaeli in snatches for five years and their romance broke up at last. However, DiCaprio found himself a lover again not much time later.

Lively dated her “Gossip Girl” co-star and former childhood classmate Penn Badgley in late 2007. But Lively and Badgley ended their dating three years later in mid-September 2010 eventually.
