The catch is that George Percy is apparently Earl Percy who is the heir to the Duchy of Northumberland, one of the oldest and the richest dukedoms in the region.

The Daily Mail reported that the Earl, nicknamed as 'the Prince of the North', eclipses even Prince William, offering magnificence and history - wealth (estimated at around £300 million; the truth is such estates are priceless) and land (more than 100,000 acres and 100 tenanted farms, as well as an estate in Surrey and Syon Park, in London) without the public responsibilities that go with being a royal.

With such regal connections, speculation is on the rise as to whether Carole and Michael Middleton will have another Duchess in the family.
