After Pence Said He Didn't Know Parnas, Video Shows Them Together

As everyone around President Donald Trump, and the President himself, scramble to distance themselves from Lev Parnas, the associate of Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani continues to make it impossible for them to deny knowing him. Most recently, Vice President Mike Pence told CNN, “I don’t know the guy.” But it turns out that might not be entirely true.

Joseph Bondy, Parnas’ lawyer, tweeted a video this week showing his client sitting next to both Mike Pence and his wife, Karen, as she holds Parnas’ hand before he reaches to shake her husband’s hand. No audio can be heard in the short video.

Parnas is currently facing federal indictment for his alleged role in funneling foreign money into the U.S. in order to influence policy on Ukraine. Recently, he opted to come clean and disclose a great deal of evidence related to Trump, those within the President's sphere and their roles in the Ukraine scandal.

Among one of his most explosive claims, Parnas said that virtually everyone in the Trump administration was fully aware of the various attempts being made to pressure the Ukrainian government into investigating Hunter Biden, the son of former Vice President Joe Biden, and his time with Ukrainian energy company Burisma.

It is unclear whether Parnas’ new pieces of evidence will be considered during Trump's impeachment trial beginning in the Senate on Tuesday. But in the unlikely event that the Senate does convict to remove Trump from the White House, Pence would then step into the Oval Office. Any compelling evidence showing his complicity in the alleged crimes committed as part of the Ukraine scandal could then set him up for his own impeachment down the road as well.

Parnas has vowed to publicly share photographs and videos of him with Trump and the members of his team each time they claim to not know him. So far, he has held true to this promise, having already shared a handful of images showing him in Trump’s company.
