After Reaching A Record High Above $900, Bitcoin Crashes

Bitcoin investors are getting their money’s worth of excitement.

After breaking $900 for the first time Tuesday, the cryptocurrency began a spectacular downward spiral. MarketWatch reported that the currency reached a low of $502 Tuesday morning before rebounding.

At 9:18 a.m. EST, bitcoin had risen back to $602, according to Mt. Gox, the world’s largest bitcoin exchange.
