Dominic Cooper is with the fans when it comes to “Marvel’s Agent Carter.” The ABC drama was recently canceled, but audiences are hoping a digital platform like Netflix or Amazon picks it up. Cooper, who played Howard Stark in the series, says he supports the idea.

During a panel at MCM London Comic Con over the weekend, a fan asked Cooper about the topic, Comic Book Resources reports. “I’d be well up for doing more Howard Stark, and I know they’d be up for doing more of their characters as well, so fingers crossed,” he said.

The actor, who currently stars in AMC’s “Preacher,” was referring to his co-stars Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter) and James D’Arcy (Edwin Jarvis). He noted that they were just as grateful for the support from viewers.

“I know that Hayley and James both feel the same. The fact that people have got behind it and want to see it return means a huge amount to them,” Cooper said.

Fans have certainly been loud about their desire to bring the show back. ABC canceled “Agent Carter” after two seasons due to lackluster ratings, but fans immediately started a petition to bring it back. As previously reported, the petition has received attention from actor Chad Michael Murray and showrunner Tara Butters. Over 114,000 people have signed in support of Netflix picking up “Agent Carter.” The goal is 150,000 signatures.

Atwell also recently addressed the possibility of a revival. Though she is set to star in ABC’s “Conviction” next season, she’d be happy to step back into Peggy’s shoes. “Yes, 100 percent,” Atwell told audiences at MegaCon in Orlando over the weekend (via Radio Times). “I love Peggy. I love the people working on this project. [It would be] a privilege and an honor to bring her back to the fans.”

With the cast ready and willing, it seems it’s just up to a new network to pick up “Marvel’s Agent Carter” Season 3.
