'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 2 Spoilers: Episode 4 Synopsis Released Online; What Will Happen In 'Face My Enemy'? [PHOTOS & VIDEO]
“Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 2 hasn’t gotten very far into the mystery of Coulson’s (Clark Gregg) cryptic carvings yet. In episode 2, Skye (Chloe Bennet) discovered that the 084 had the same markings, but that didn’t tell them much. The S.H.I.E.L.D. team will get much closer to answers in episode 4, according to the latest episode synopsis.
Coulson and May (Ming-Na Wen) are going undercover at a black-tie event to help them get another clue, but May might not want Coulson to figure out what’s happening to them. She’ll attack Coulson to stop him, and that will cause a serious rift between the two. Without understanding why she attacked him, Coulson will feel that he lost the only person he trusted.
While Coulson and May are undercover, the rest of the team is going to run into a few problems that the elder agents can’t help them with. They’ll find themselves in an “explosive situation.” Of course, “Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.” means that literally. The plane might explode and Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) will have to help them. As an engineer, he might be the only one with the knowledge necessary to save them. However, Fitz still has trouble communicating with people. Will he be able to overcome his difficulties to save his team?
The episode will also feature Agent 33 (Maya Stojan). Coulson got the news that Hydra had taken her in episode 3, and viewers saw the intense brainwashing process that Bakshi (Simon Kassianides) and Whitehall (Reed Diamond) put her through. Fans will find out just how well Hydra’s programming can work on one of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s best agents.
