Things are getting tense in “Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 2. The ABC show released two new sneak peek videos to show fans where the team is in episode 2, and it's not looking good. S.H.I.E.L.D. isn’t the top dog anymore and that starts affecting some of his team members.

Sneak Peek #1

Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) went after Hartley (Lucy Lawless), Idaho (Wilmer Calderon) and Hunter (Nick Blood) on her motocycle. Hartley and Idaho were killed, but it sounds like Hunter was captured.

“Two agents down, another captured. This shouldn’t have happened,” Coulson says to her from his office. He tells her that 911 picked up a stolen vehicle alert just ahead of where she is.

May finds the car on a busy road and assumes that Creel (Brian Patrick Wade) is inside, but Coulson (Clark Gregg) doesn’t want her to chase him down without back up. He orders her to stand down.

“Do you copy?” he asks, but May stays silent. A honking car horn doesn’t comfort Coulson. “May, that doesn’t sound covert.”

May says that she can get him and takes out her gun, but Coulson doesn’t want her to attack him in public without a team.

“We can’t just let him go, Coulson!” she says.

“Creel isn’t working alone and I want to know who he answers to,” Coulson said. “Drop back into surveillance mode now!”

May doesn’t seem to want to listen to S.H.I.E.L.D.’s new director.

Sneak Peek #2

Coulson’s team can’t quite figure out how Creel can absorb materials around him or who he is working for. However, they have to worry about another enemy. Last week, Skye shut down Hydra’s encrypted communication frequency. Whoever revamped the frequency left a message for S.H.I.E.L.D. and gave them a phone number to call.

Raina (Ruth Negga) answers the phone call and tells Coulson what she wanted.

“It’s what I don’t want, which is the Obelisk falling into the hands of people who don’t understand it,” she says. “I’m thinking you might.”

Raina says that John Garrett understood the Obelisk. After he was injected with GH.325, he started having visions and carved them into the wall, which sounds an awful lot like what Coulson was drawing in the “Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 1 finale. He isn’t about to admit that, though. He claims that Garrett was a madman.

“He witnessed our fate, what we’d become. Have you?” Raina asks.

Coulson sees through her whimsical words and realizes that she wants S.H.I.E.L.D. to catch Creel. He stole something from Raina, and she needs it back. Luckily for the team, she embedded a tracker on her stolen item.

“But you’d better hurry,” she says. “He’s growing less stable by the second.”
