'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 2 Spoilers: Watch Lucy Lawless' First Scene With A New Villain In Sneak Peek Video From Premiere

The “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 2 premiere isn’t until Sept. 23, but ABC is giving fans a sneak peek before the episode airs. Season 2 will pick up with Coulson as the new director of S.H.I.E.L.D., but he’ll be rebuilding the organization after Hydra’s infiltration. S.H.I.E.L.D. doesn’t have much besides ready and willing agents right now, so they’ll have to do a lot of work to keep the agency running. That might even include buying S.H.I.E.L.D.’s information and evidence back.

In a sneak peek from Lucy Lawless’ first episode, Isabelle Hartley and her team are on a mission for S.H.I.E.L.D. She has arranged a deal with a man called Agent Browning who used to work at a S.H.I.E.L.D. containment facility. May, Skye and Tripplet are watching the deal from afar.

Browning tells Hartley that she was the highest bidder. He doesn’t really care if he is selling the information to S.H.I.E.L.D. allies or Hydra. It turns out that he doesn’t even have the box that they want. He has information on where the government has it and what it is. Browning is selling Hartley a file that was classified as Level 10 clearance, the most classified file that was held at Browning's facility.

“You’re selling us a needle in a haystack,” Hartley says.

“Finding the haystack is up to you,” Browning says. "I know your reputation. I’m sure you’ll be fine."

They argue about the terms of their agreement and realize that Browning has one guard more than he came in with. When Browning turns around to see who it is, Crusher Creel attacks them. Hartley’s team tries to shoot him, but Crusher is unaffected.

May, Skye and Triplett come in as back up, but Crusher jumps out of the window (a 25 foot drop). Hartley doesn’t appreciate Coulson sending backup without her knowledge, but she still calls him to find out their next orders.
