‘Agents Of SHIELD’ Season 3 Spoilers: Episode 19 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘Failed Experiments’? [VIDEO & PHOTOS]
The Kree are coming. The oft-mentioned blue aliens are finally going to make an appearance on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 3, but that’s probably not a good sign. Hive’s plans are becoming more dangerous than ever in episode 19 of the ABC drama.
“Coulson [Clark Gregg] and his team race to combat Hive’s [Brett Dalton] control over the Inhumans, as their enemy’s deadly plan for the human race is revealed,” the synopsis teases.
The episode summary is short and simple, but Hive’s plan is not. The alien revealed that he wanted to “redefine humanity, permanently.” He kidnapped Dr. Holden Radcliffe (John Hannah) and decided that he would help turn humans into Inhumans by recreating the experiment that the Kree used to first create the human/alien hybrids. Hive even bought a town at the end of episode 18 to start experimenting on. However, the episode title, “Failed Experiments,” might indicate how successful Dr. Radcliffe is.
In the promo video for “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 3, episode 19, the Kree appear, but it isn’t clear what they’re doing. S.H.I.E.L.D., however, has a clear mission: they need to save the people Hive is putting in danger. They have to determine if they’re willing to risk Daisy’s (Chloe Bennet) life, though. Coulson made it clear that Daisy is the priority in the last episode, but with a whole town in danger, one life might not be more important than saving many.

It looks like Hive will have his team of Inhumans still by his side. Alisha (Alicia Vela-Bailey) and James (Axle Whitehead), also known as Hellfire, are both set to guest star in this episode. Will they start to question Hive when his experiments fail? Or will the mind control keep them by his side no matter what?
“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 3, episode 19 airs Tuesday, May 3, at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
