“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” saved Daisy, but they still have to take down Hive. In the two-hour Season 3 finale, Coulson and his team will go after their latest nemesis, but it won’t be easy. The synopsis for the ABC drama reminds audiences that not everyone will survive this mission.

“It’s a showdown a season in the making as S.H.I.E.L.D. takes on Hive, and when his master plan is finally revealed, the team must spring into action,” the synopsis for episodes 21 and 22 teases.

In the last episode, Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) realized that Hive (Brett Dalton) is planning to spread the effects of his new experiment using a wave, but he would need some major event to create that kind of ripple. Talbot (Adrian Pasdar) revealed that Hive already has the necessary tech. He stole a warhead from the ATCU. Not only does the team have to worry about a huge portion of the world becoming Hive’s minion Inhumans, but they also have to stop him from setting off a weapon of mass destruction.

The synopsis also asks a major question on everyone’s minds: Who will live and who will die? Earlier this season, Daisy (Chloe Bennet) had a vision of one of her friends dying in a quinjet, but no one knows who it will be. Elena’s (Natalia Cordova-Buckley) necklace was floating around in the vision, and she gave her necklace to Mack (Henry Simmons) in the last episode. However, a promo video for the season finale shows Fitz holding the jewelry. Could he be the one to die?

The photos from this episode don’t show Daisy on the mission with other Secret Warriors. She’ll appear elsewhere in the episode, but don’t expect her to be too emotional after recovering from Hive’s mind control. “She’s so deeply broken up about it that she can’t even expose how she actually feels to her team,” Bennet revealed to Entertainment Weekly. “She’s so upset that she feels like she can’t even look at the team, let alone be upset about it in front of them.”

The two-hour “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 3 finale airs Tuesday, May 17, at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
