Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky on Monday donated $100 million to the Obama Foundation for college scholarships and travel credits for future students.

Students who receive the “Voyager Scholarship” must be entering their junior year, and will be given $50,000 for tuition over their next two years. The scholarship will also come with a $10,000 grant, and an Airbnb credit for a personally designed summer vacation. Airbnb will give a $2,000 yearly credit for 10 years as well, a press release said.

"You're going to find young people from every corner of this country who are going to be future change makers. There are leaders everywhere. We just have to find them," former President Barack Obama said in a video announcement.

The scholarships will be given to students who are pursuing public service careers. The travel credits will be given to help encourage “curiosity and cooperation” among future students.

“There are young people across the country who have a passion for public service, but can’t pursue it because of their student loan debt. We want to help reduce that burden," Chesky said.

In November, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos donated $100 million to the Obama Foundation, stating that he was “thrilled to support President and Mrs. Obama and their Foundation in its mission to train and inspire tomorrow’s leaders.”

Bezos’ and Chesky's donations are tied for the largest amounts given to the Obama Foundation for scholarships.
