In a bizarre incident, the rear tire of an airplane burst just after it landed on a runway in Nepal, following which passengers had to push it off the landing strip. The video of the incident that happened Wednesday has gone viral on social media.

The aircraft belonging to Tara Air had just landed at Bajura Airport in the Nepalese town of Kolti when its rear tire burst, reported Nepal News.

But then, another aircraft flying overhead was unable to land as the parked Tara Air 9N AVE was blocking the runway. Seeing this, the passengers joined the security personnel in pushing the aircraft off the runway. However, it is unclear whether the people who pushed the plane were those on board the aircraft or the ones present at the airport.

Tara Air is the sister company of Yeti Airlines. According to the spokesperson of Yeti Airlines, there was no infrastructure to tow the airplane to the other side, following which the passengers had to join the airport officials in moving the plane so flight operations could resume.

The plane was successfully moved out of the runway, and the other aircraft was able to land safely. The aircraft's wheel was also replaced soon after. It is now fully operational.

The footage of the incident that shows a group of about 20 people working together to move the airplane off the runway, has since gone viral.

The video has over 50k views and several reactions. While a few commented on how it happens "only in Nepal," a few others were concerned about the safety of the passengers. Others commented on how the authorities should do more checks before flying the aircraft.

Some also raised concerns on why the airport's authorities failed to provide facilities and equipment to tow the plane off the landing strip.

Bajura is a domestic airport situated in land-locked Nepal at an elevation of 4,300 feet (1,311 m) above sea level. It has one runway that is 520 meters (1,706 ft) long.

In another strange incident, a Guatemalan was found hiding inside the landing gear compartment of an American Airlines. Though he survived the harsh flight from his home country to Miami last Saturday, he was then turned over to U.S. immigration officials and taken to a hospital for evaluation.
