KEY POINTS

  • Apple's AirPods Pro is so popular that Cupertino can't keep up with the demand
  • Orders made via Apple.com and other online stores won't be delivered before March 3
  • Some brick-and-mortar stores, however, have available units for those who come

The AirPods Pro boasts of a host of features absent in the first and second-generation AirPods. It comes in a new in-ear design that effectively helps keep the audio accessory in place while limiting the amount of noise that leaks in, and comes with Active Noise Cancellation that will certainly enhance the user's listening experience whenever it is turned on.

These, and many other features such as wireless charging, improved audio performance, a Transparency mode that allows users to stay aware of what's happening around them while listening to music or taking calls – and not to mention its easy integration with iDevices such as iPhones, iPads and Macs – make the AirPods Pro a must-have for all Apple device users.

Out of stock

Previous reports reveal that because of its immense popularity, analysts have predicted a shortage come Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and Christmas. True enough, there was a shortage during those times. Sadly, the shortage continues, and it appears that those who want to buy a pair of AirPods Pro for themselves or for a significant other for Valentine's won't get it by then.

Cult of Mac reported that those who ordered a pair of AirPods Pro from Apple.com won't receive them before March 3, which is about a month from now. Those who will try to purchase one via Amazon, Walmart or Best Buy's websites will also be disappointed to know that it's “out of stock.”

Available here

Those who desperately want to get the AirPods Pro, however, should not lose hope. Cult of Mac discovered that some physical stores still have some units available for walk-in customers.

A certain Apple Store in Atlanta, for example, has it in stock. Some of Target's physical stores in Los Angeles and Chicago also have available units, while only one store in San Francisco or Atlanta offers it.

Those who are nearby and long to get the Apple audio device are advised to go to brick-and-mortar stores to see if they have available units in stock. Otherwise, those who aren't crazy about the Apple brand but want better noise cancellation and audio performance can get Sony's WF-1000XM3 earbuds for less than $200 via Amazon instead.
