AirPods Pro Tip: How To Make Earbuds Louder
KEY POINTS
- The AirPods Pro are good audio devices
- There are times, however, when the volume sounds low
- There are ways to make it go louder
The AirPods Pro are nifty audio devices that lets users listen to more of their music and less of the outside noise. That said, there are times when users might feel like they're not as loud as they should be.
There are ways to make sure that the AirPods Pro sound as loud as they need to be. For those who are struggling with weak sounding AirPods Pro models, here are a few things that can be done to make them go louder.
Simply adjust the volume
AirPods Pro volume levels can be adjusted to the user's desired loudness levels. It's worth noting, however, that the volume should be adjusted from the actual device playing the music. If the AirPods Pro play music from the iPhone, the volume should be adjusted on the iPhone.
If the AirPods Pro plays sound coming from an Apple TV that's connected to an iPhone via AirPlay, however, users should adjust the volume on the Apple TV – or simply ask Siri to adjust it.
Volume Limit settings
The AirPods Pro volume can be capped to a maximum level set by the European Union. Those who want to go beyond that cap can do so by going to Settings > Music > Volume Limit > EU Volume Limit then check if the toggle is on. Turning it off will allow users to set Max. Volume settings.
Make sure the battery has enough charge
The iPhone normally limits volume levels when it is low on battery, Apple Insider noted. Low Power Mode alone doesn't lower the volume – actual low battery level does. Users must check to see if their handset still has enough battery to play their music.
Sound balance settings
Those who complain about one earbud being louder than the other should go and check if the audio output is balanced. Users should go to Settings > Accessibility > Hearing > Audio/Visual then check the Balance slider if it sits precisely in the middle. Moving it to one side increases volume for that side.
If all else fails, users can still do the following:
- First, users can disconnect and reconnect their AirPods Pro to their iPhone.
- Second, if that doesn't work, users can go to Settings > Bluetooth, find their AirPods Pro in the list of devices, tap on the “i” icon, tap on “Forget this Device,” and confirm it. Then, users should pair the AirPods Pro with their iPhones again.
- Third, if that still doesn't work, users should try restarting the iPhone.
