Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been attending the Cannes International Film Festival since 2002. However, there were rumors that the actress wouldn't be attending the 65th Cannes International Film Festival, scheduled to be held between May 16 and 27, because of the oodles of weight she has gained post-pregnancy.

But a source closed to Ash has put all the rumors aside and confirmed to the DNA newspaper that the actress would be walking the red carpet this year also. The source also confirmed that Ash would be accompanied by her six-month-old daughter.

Yes, Aishwarya will be going to Cannes this year. We can't confirm about Abhishek yet, but Aishwarya won't travel without Aradhya for sure, the source told DNA.

Aishwarya Rai has been associated with cosmetic brand L'Oreal, the for more than 11 years now and she has been attending the film festival as the brand ambassador of a cosmetic brand. The actress, besides being the face of the cosmetic company, also announced Madhur Bhandarkar's upcoming film Heroine at the fest last year. But this time she will attend the event only as the brand ambassador of L'Oreal.

Company's corporate communications manager Snehhal Chitneni has confirmed that the actress will attend the event. Yes, Aishwarya is slated to attend the festival and she has confirmed it too. In fact, this year the actor will have a bigger role to play as the brand ambassador, Chitneni told the DNA.

Apart from the former Miss World, other Bollywood celebrities like Arjun Rampal, Bipasha Basu and Kareena Kapoor are also expected to attend the film fest.

Sources also said that Aishwarya would be walking the red carpet on two consecutive days.
