Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and the new born baby girl are doing fine as per the latest tweet from Abhishek Bachchan.

Both Aishwarya and the baby are doing great and taking some much needed rest, tweeted Abhishek Bachchan on his twitter account. He also thanked his fans by stating, Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes.

Later, he added, Have put the wife and daughter to bed. Now sitting alone and reliving the whole day again, UNBELIEVABLE.

On Nov. 16, at around 9.53 a.m., actor Abhishek Bachchan messaged a friend that his wife Aishwarya had given birth. A few seconds later, he announced on Twitter: “IT’S A GIRL!!!!!!”. Minutes later, his ecstatic pa, Amitabh Bachchan, reacted with, “I am a DADA to the cutest baby girl!

Amitabh Bachchan received thousands of messages congratulating him on his Twitter account within 30 minutes of his announcement. Tags such as ‘Baby B,’ ‘Girl’ and ‘Dada’ were also trending. He tweeted, On the mobile message front I am trying desperately to reply to your wishes ... from the 1000 odd sms, just 200 left ...do bear with us.

The entire Bollywood fraternity tweeted on the same throughout the day. Shahrukh Khan messaged: how beautiful is this feeling. Allah bless u and Aish. Dying to come & see the three of u...YAY!!!! Now u really r PA lov u.
