Aishwarya Rai Keeps Up the Bachchan Tradition; Boy Next?

It’s a baby girl!!

Former Miss World and Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gave birth to a baby girl Wednesday morning.

The proud grandfather and veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan broke the news of Aishwarya-Abhishek’s first baby girl. I AM DADA to the cutest baby girl !! the overjoyed grandpa tweeted. A dada ji ... Ecstatic !!!! thank you all ..! he added.

Aishwarya Rai gave birth to the baby at Seven Hills Hospital, Marol, in Andheri, Mumbai. This is the same hospital where her sister-in-law, Shrima Rai, gave birth.

Actor and husband Abhishek Bachchan, in-laws (Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan), sister-in-law Shweta Nanda and parents and brother accompanied Aishwarya to the hospital where she was admitted on Monday.

Abhishek Bachchan, who had wanted a baby girl, gave the good news to Bachchan’s fans in a tweet message saying, IT'S A GIRL!!!!!! :)))))

After giving birth to their first baby girl, Aishwarya Rai, the perfect daughter-in-law of the Bachchan family is following in the family tradition.

Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan have two children and their eldest is daughter Shweta Nanda. Shweta is married to industrialist Nikhil Nanda. Their eldest too is a girl, Navya Naveli, and then a son Agastya Nanda.

Keeping up with the Bachchan family tradition, Aishwarya given birth a girl as well. Now we can hope that the next child will be a boy.
