Alabama vs. Oklahoma Orange Bowl: When, Where To Watch College Football Playoff Semifinal Game
Two of the most storied programs in the history of college football will face off in the College Football Playoff this weekend. The No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide and the No. 4 Oklahoma Sooners, both coming off of thrilling conference championship victories, will compete in the Orange Bowl for a spot in the national title game.
The Tide and the Sooners both feature plenty of star power, perhaps best exemplified by their quarterbacks, Tua Tagovailoa gave Alabama an explosive passing attack the program had lacked even in its best years, eventually finishing as a Heisman finalist. On the other side, Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray won the Heisman Trophy in his first and only season as the Sooners’ starter.
The amount of big names in this game perhaps masks the fact that Alabama is expected to win big, according to oddsmakers. The Tide is a two touchdown favorite over the Sooners, per OddsShark. Alabama has one of the top defenses in the country, while Oklahoma’s gave up at least 40 points in four consecutive games to close out the regular season.
Whoever wins this game will take on the winner of the Cotton Bowl Classic, between Clemson and Notre Dame.
