Alec Baldwin Engaged To Hilaria Thomas

30 Rock star Alec Baldwin got engaged to his 28-year-old girlfriend Hilaria Thomas, just in time for his 54th birthday on Tuesday. Baldwin allegedly popped the question over a trip to Long Island according to NY Daily News.

Baldwin's rep Matthew Hiltzik confirmed the news when he tweeted, Alex proposed to Hilaria this weekend & we're all excited 4 the newly engaged couple. AB's birthday tom'w. Great way 2 celebrate!

This will be the first marriage for Thomas and the second for Baldwin, who was formerly married to actress Kim Basinger.

All of a sudden I found myself where I was available to have something more real in my life, said Baldwin of Thomas during an interview with the Daily Beast last fall. And now I'm going to move in with her. It's the most serious thing, I guess, I've had in a long, long time.

Baldwin and Thomas first made their relationship public last September after the two met in early 2011 over dinner with friends at Pure Food and Wine. The couple is well-known for frequently displaying their affections for one another over exchanges on Twitter. Thomas, who was born in Mallorca, Spain, studied dance and art history at NYU. She is currently a yoga instructor and co-owner of New York Yoga Vida yoga studio.

The couple has yes to set a wedding date.
