Alex Rodriguez Sneakily Likes Instagram Post About Ex-Fiancée Jennifer Lopez

Alex Rodriguez showed some love for Jennifer Lopez as she celebrated her 52nd birthday Saturday.

To honor her birthday, Jennifer’s sister Lynda Lopez shared a selfie with her on Instagram and wrote a lengthy message to express her adoration for the “Hustlers” star.

“My original BFF, I love you more than words can say,” Lynda wrote.

“Not only are you the most fun, and my ride or die, you light the world and show me what’s possible and are my inspiration always. Sometimes I can’t believe I was so lucky that God put the beautiful soul that is you into my life. Wishing you your best birthday yet!” Lynda added.

Shortly after Lynda posted the snap, Rodriguez, who was also vacationing in France at the same time as his ex-fiancée, liked the photo. The 45-year-old former Yankee and J. Lo are still following each other on Instagram despite their split.

After breaking off their engagement in April, the pair said in a joint statement that they would continue to support each other as friends after the breakup.

“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so,” the ex-couple said. “We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects.”

Interestingly, both Rodriguez and Jennifer decided to celebrate their birthdays recently aboard luxury yachts in St. Tropez in France, albeit with different companies. Rodriguez celebrated his birthday with several friends, including “NFL on CBS” broadcaster Melanie Collins. Jennifer, on the other hand, spent her birthday weekend with on-again boyfriend Ben Affleck.

Jennifer rekindled her romance with Affleck months after her split from Rodriguez. Jennifer and Affleck were engaged in the early 2000s but called off their engagement days before their wedding due to last-minute qualms.

Last weekend, the “Jenny from the Block” singer posted her first photos with Affleck on Instagram Stories, including one showing them sharing a steamy kiss.

A source told US Magazine that Jennifer and Affleck are both committed to making their relationship work this time.

“It feels like they’ve been together again for years, not months,” the source told the outlet.
