Alicia Silverstone Compares Her Costume To Leslie Grace's Batgirl Outfit: 'A Lot Less Vulnerable'
Alicia Silverstone, who portrayed Batgirl in the 1997 "Batman and Robin," opened up about Leslie Grace's new costume that she will be donning in the upcoming movie, "Batgirl."
"I think she's going to be wonderful. Her costume looks amazing and I'm happy for her. She must be very excited," Silverstone told Comic Book Movie on Tuesday, adding, "Her costume looks way more comfortable than mine was. And a lot less vulnerable! Mine was like, 'Bing!' It's just weird."
Actor Stephen Moyer, who was also part of the interview, chimed in and said her costume was "fantastic" and not "weird" to which the actress replied, "Fantastic? Okay, good. I mean, Joel Schumacher was at the helm of that, so...[Laughs]"
The actress was asked during the interview if there was any possibility to reprise her Batgirl character like Michael Keaton, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire did in the recent Marvel movies.
"I don’t know," the actress responded. "I’m open to whatever the world brings me, right? I’ll see what happens and flow."

On the work front, Silverstone lent her voice to Queen Marlena's character in the animated TV series, "Masters of the Universe: Revelation," which is streaming on Netflix. She was recently featured in a horror thriller movie, "The Requin," which was released last week.
Considering her upcoming projects, the actress will be featured in a comedy movie, "Senior Year," which is helmed by director Alex Hardcastle. The movie will also star Rebel Wilson, Angourie Rice, Justin Hartley, Sam Richardson and Joshua Colley.
She will also feature in a crime thriller movie, titled "Reptile," which is penned and helmed by Grant Singer. The flick will also feature Benicio Del Toro, Justin Timberlake, Michael Pitt and Ato Essandoh. It is currently under post-production and expected to release this year.
Grace, on the other hand, is currently filming the highly anticipated movie, "Batgirl," which is slated to release directly on the streaming platform, HBO Max. The movie is helmed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. The crime-action flick will also star Brendan Fraser, Michael Keaton, J.K. Simmons and Ivory Aquino.
