Apple's New TV app
Apple unveiled a new app - called TV - at its Mac event Thursday, promising users will have all of their digital TV content in one place. Apple's new TV app will bring services from services like HBO, iTunes purchases and live content. Apple’s new TV app will be available on the iPhone, iPad and Apple TV and is free.
Apple MacBook Pro with TouchStrip
The main highlight at Apple’s “Hello Again” today in Cupertino was the new MacBook Pro. The new MacBook Pros will be available in 13-inch and 15-inch options, and are thinner than previous versions. There’s also a Touch ID button which is located at the right of the Touch Bar, and it works like it does on iOS. You can also customize the Touch Bar for individual apps. Minecraft is coming to Apple TV
Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that Microsoft is bringing Minecraft to Apple TV. While it wasn’t a major announcement, Cook said you can builds worst straight from the Apple TV. Minecraft players will also be able to play across multiple platforms.
Apple's Siri gets improvements
Apple’s Siri also got some improvements on the Apple TV, letting you pull up live TV broadcast. They demoed with college football, saying you can pull up a live game by asking for it, ex: “play the Auburn game.” This means it will be a lot easier to find what you’re looking for.
