Amal Clooney Looks Elegant In Christian Dior Peplum Blazer At Capitol Hill

Amal Clooney made an appearance at Capitol Hill recently in a cream-colored peplum blazer. The international human rights lawyer joined Congressman Jim McGovern and Sen. John McCain Thursday to discuss the imprisoned Azerbaijani journalist Khadija Ismayilova’s case, according to Pop Sugar.

Clooney wore a Christian Dior peplum blazer adorned with colossal buttons and teamed it with a waist belt on a pencil skirt. She side-parted her hair and wore minimal makeup. The 38-year-old completed her look with pearl earrings and black heels.

Recently, Clooney has been spotted in whites. Last week, the British-Lebanese lawyer, who married actor George Clooney in September 2014, stepped out in New York City wearing a white pantsuit, Manning Cartell’s topper and purple and white top. Her attire was finished with purple Salvatore Ferragamo sunglasses and a white purse.

George and Amal tied the knot in Venice, Italy, on Sept. 27, 2014, and have been spotted getting intimate on several occasions. In January, reports speculated if Amal was pregnant but George brushed off the rumors.
