‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ Trailer [VIDEO & PICS]

The Amazing Spider-Man trailer is out. The video shows a completely revamped version of the Spider-Man movie series from Columbia Pictures.

Instead of Sam Raimi, new hot-shot director Marc Webb is in charge. Spider-Man/Peter Parker is now played by Andrew Garfield, who previously starred as Eduardo Saverin in The Social Network.

The characters of the movie itself are also different.

Instead of Mary Jane Watson, there is Gwen Stacy as Peter Parker's love interest. The villain/mad scientist in The Amazing Spider-Man movie will be The Lizard/Dr. Curt Connors.
