Amazon Prime Day 2018: Whole Foods Reveals Exclusive Deals
Amazon Prime Day is fast approaching. The online retail giant's own summertime version of Black Friday will see plenty of items discounted for members of its Prime subscription service, but grocery shoppers at Whole Foods Market stores will get some incentives, too, according to the Whole Foods website.
Whole Foods customers who also happen to subscribe to Amazon Prime can get a handful of benefits by shopping at any Whole Foods store in the nation between July 11 and 17. First and foremost, customers who make a purchase of $10 or more during that time will get a $10 credit on their Amazon account to use on any of the upcoming Prime Day deals.
Between July 14 and 17, customers who use the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Card in a Whole Foods store can get 10 percent back. That applies to purchases up to $400, according to the Whole Foods website. Also, anyone using the Prime Now delivery system to get groceries delivered for the first time can get $10 off their order.
Those offers are all on top of traditional in-store discounts on items like boneless chicken breasts and cereal, according to CNN Money. To access these deals, Prime members will need to log into their accounts on the Whole Foods mobile app or give the cashier their phone number upon checking out.
Amazon Prime Day runs from July 16 to July 17. The massive retailer will offer steep discounts on everything from cookware to toys and electronics for a little more than 24 hours. However, like the Whole Foods offers, Amazon is dishing out smaller deals here and there in the days leading up to Prime Day.
Amazon purchased Whole Foods for $13.7 billion in 2017, but did not do much to bring the brands together until this year. Prime members could save money on select items at all U.S. Whole Foods stores by the end of June.
