Amber Cole Video Leads to Two Boys' Arrest, False Rumors of Suicide: Report
The Amber Cole video has reportedly led to the arrest of two boys this week, and the 14-year-old girl is still alive, dispelling rumors that she had committed suicide.
[I] can't wait to press charges tomorrow, Cole tweeted on Tuesday, according to reports.
Cole reportedly told her Twitter followers that two teens who were allegedly involved with the video have been arrested.
A video reportedly showing Cole engaging in a sexual act with a boy who is said to be her ex-boyfriend recently found its way onto the Internet, sparking a national outcry against teen bullying. Rumor has it that the sexual incident happened on school grounds.
On Wednesday, the girl tweeted: people are not supporting for wat [sic] i did they supporting me to stay strong.
She followed that up with: i neve[r] [k]new it was [sic] so many ignorant people in this world.
The teen also allegedly said he would not kill herself over such an incident.
When the video was uploaded, Amber Cole became an instant Internet sensation, sparking discussions on social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook and videos on YouTube.
One teen, Jordann Marie, created a Leave Amber Cole Alone video that went viral on the Internet, attracting more than 200,000 hits in just over 24 hours of its release.
Marie's video has spawned several parodies.
