Amber Heard Obsessed With Newfound Fame While Dating Johnny Depp, PA Says

Amber Heard was allegedly obsessed with her newfound fame when she started dating Johnny Depp.

Depp has starred in various films and is one of the very popular actors in Hollywood. He became a household name when he played the eccentric character of Jack Sparrow in “Pirates of the Caribbean.”

Heard’s former personal assistant Kate James has released a sworn statement concerning Depp’s case against Heard. She worked for the “Aquaman” actress from March 2012 to February 2015.

In her deposition, James shared her working experience with Heard and what she did for the actress. Their working relationship was far from perfect, with James describing Heard as “verbally and mentally abusive.”

According to the actress’ former PA, part of her job was to go to the newsstand and purchase multiple copies of every magazine that featured Heard in every week. She was also instructed to hide them because Heard didn’t want Depp to see them. However, she made a mistake one time that made the actress furious.

“Once I left some out in the apartment by mistake and Amber flipped out at me over that,” James shared.

“She didn’t want Johnny to know how obsessed she was with her new found increasing fame thanks to her association with him.”

James added that Amber “relished the fame that came with dating Johnny.” The “Justice League” actress realized that she could ask for designer clothing for free because she was Depp’s girlfriend, so she tasked James to contact various brands for free clothing. Furthermore, Heard allegedly wanted everything for free and would turn down discounts.

“She eventually took over an entire penthouse apartment in one of Johnny’s penthouse at the Eastern Columbia building to house her massive collection of designer clothes, shoes, bags and jewelry,” James added.

In her statement, James also recalled how Heard referred to Depp as “old man.” Heard was already dating Depp when she became her personal assistant. However, the actress didn’t introduce Depp to her immediately and would often use disparaging comments when talking about her then-boyfriend.

Meanwhile, Depp’s former employee also heard the “London Fields” star insulting and calling Depp names. At one point, Heard allegedly body-shamed the actor by calling him “fat” and “washed up.”

Heard also allegedly told Depp that no one would hire him and he would die lonely, adding that his career was over.

Depp was dropped from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise due to Heard’s allegations that he was abusive and violent. However, some still believed in him. In fact, J.K. Rowling cast him for “Fantastic Beasts” despite the backlash she received for supporting an alleged abuser.
