Amber Portwood Opens Up About Relationship With New Boyfriend Andrew Glennon

Amber Portwood is happy and in love with her new beau.

Earlier this month, Portwood was caught on video cuddling and kissing a mystery man, sparking rumors that she has already found a new boyfriend just a little over a month after her split from ex-fiancé Matt Baier. The man was identified later as Andrew Glennon.

Now, Portwood and Glennon have finally decided to open up about their budding romance. According to the "Teen Mom OG" star, she and her boyfriend met while filming "Marriage Boot Camp" with Baier, but they never really talked to each other prior to her split.

"He didn't really know who I was and we didn't talk on the show because, you know, he would get in trouble, and I would have gotten in trouble, but I didn't even know that he even liked me!" Portwood, 27, told Us Weekly. "It just simply was he had a little crush on me."

The reality star added that two weeks after they wrapped up filming, Glennon reached out to her. They started out as friends. They found each other fun to talk with and began to hang out.

On contacting the reality star, Glennon admitted that he was nervous at first, but soon felt at ease around Portwood. "It was definitely butterflies there, but again, as we started talking, strangely I felt so comfortable, which was amazing," he said. "I feel like that's hard to find."

The MTV star is planning to make her red carpet debut with her new boyfriend at the Video Music Awards. Portwood is "very happy" in their relationship, but they are taking things slow. "We're going slow and we're just trying to be smart about everything, which is good to find somebody on your level like that," Portwood explained. "I think we just kind of fell into this groove of really enjoying life with each other for a while, so it's kind of fun and it's kind of serious in a way as well, but we're trying not to put too much pressure on a relationship."

While Portwood has already moved on from her ex, Baier is full of regrets for taking their relationship for granted. He admitted his mistakes to E! News and even confessed that he was hoping for a reconciliation. But that is unlikely to happen now that Portwood has a new boyfriend.

"I'll hold out hope for a reconciliation," Baier said. "But if nothing else, I hope we can stay friends."
