Amber Rose Confirms Blac Chyna, Rob Kardashian Engagement; Kardashian Family Stays Quiet

It’s official: Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are engaged to be married. Amber Rose confirmed the news early Tuesday morning.

The model tweeted a congratulatory message to Rob, 28, and Blac Chyna, 27. She called the pair her “family,” sharing a photo of the newly engaged couple from her gal pal’s Instagram. Her tweet was complete with several ring and heart eye emojis, expressing her excitement about Rob and Blac Chyna’s impending nuptials. Amber Rose is the first person close to the couple to congratulate them. Members of the Kardashian family have been silent on the engagement.

News of their potential engagement broke after photos began surfacing of Blac Chyna sporting a massive new accessory. The mother of one posted an Instagram picture of her and Rob sitting in a car together smiling at one another. Her right hand is shown cupping his chin, while her left flashes her new rock at the camera. She gave little away in her caption, writing “YES.” Rob later uploaded his own photo of his fiancée. In it she can be seen using a stack of dollars as a phone while covering her mouth with the hand wearing the ring as though she is shocked.

This is the second time Amber Rose has come forward to speak for the couple. In January as rumors swirled about a potential romance between Blac Chyna and Rob, she appeared on the Allegedly podcast where she confirmed that they were dating. She told hosts Theo Von and Matt Cole Weiss that the pair were “really happy” together.
