Amber Rose Shares Why She Publicly Called Out Ex-Boyfriend Alexander Edwards For His Infidelity

Amber Rose has opened up about her heartbreak after she publicly blasted her now-ex-boyfriend Alexander Edwards for cheating.

Days after she announced on social media that Edwards cheated on her multiple times — which he later admitted to — Rose, 37, posted a lengthy message on her Instagram Stories Saturday about falling in love with a narcissist and what held her back from leaving the music executive for so long despite his actions, according to E! News.

"[Your] brain tells you to run when [your] heart says stay," she wrote.

She also said that there were a lot of "unanswered questions, gaslighting, stonewalling, deflecting and projecting" while they were together.

"I wish it was easy to 'fix him' but that's not for me to do. The pain cuts so deep especially when children are involved," Rose added. "I will always love him so much but I know I can't heal him only he can do that."

Rose, who shares 22-month old son Slash Alexander Edwards with her ex, also explained why she decided to call Edwards out publicly. Apparently, she felt it was necessary in order to allow herself to move on and get the love she deserves.

"I knew I had to set myself free publicly or I would've stayed forever never receiving the love I craved and begged for," Rose wrote. "Tough choice because it hurts so bad but I choose me."

The model insisted, "I didn't wanna have to do this at all. I just wanted my family, MY HUSBAND."

"There's only so many times I can ask a man to be transparent, honest and love me wholeheartedly," she added. "I don't know if I'll get the happy ending I wanted but maybe I'll get the happy ending I deserve."

Rose also shared a graphic in a subsequent post that reflects a relationship in which one of the pair is a narcissist. In the photo, the man is down on one knee, holding the woman's hand and begging her to stay.

"Stay here with me and be miserable, exhausted, manipulated, played, cheated on and abused," the caption read. "Don't go away and break free from me and realize you are better off without me, free from my drama, able to heal and move forward with your life."

The caption continued, "I can't let you see that you are better off without me, so I have to do everything possible to keep you from leaving. You don't leave me until I'm done playing or find better supply."

On Wednesday, Rose slammed Edwards for his infidelity, saying on her Instagram Stories that she was "tired of getting cheated on and being embarrassed behind the scenes." She alleged that he cheated on her with at least 12 women and claimed to have seen all the texts and DMs that prove his infidelity.

Edwards later addressed the accusations during an Instagram Live with DJ Big Von on his "PST" show, admitting he "got caught."

"I love her, though. That's my best friend, the mother of my son. I love [Sebastian], my stepson, too. But...I like women," he added.

Rose is also mom to 8-year-old son Sebastian Taylor Thomaz, whom she shares with ex Wiz Khalifa.
