Amber Rose Talks Heartbreaking Split From Kanye West, Says She Never Cheated

Amber Rose has finally opened up about her painful breakup from Kanye West.

West, 40, and Rose, 33, dated for two years before they parted ways in 2010. Unfortunately, their split was not amicable. West had said a lot of things against the “Orange Is The New Black” star. On Tuesday, Rose joined Complex’s “Everday Struggle” talk show and opened up about her dating history, including her current beau 21 Savage, 24.

“I see this a lot on the Internet: Amber’s going to hurt him. I have been the one that has been heartbroken. I have never cheated on any of my boyfriends,” Rose said (via Us Weekly). “I still have never said anything mean about Kanye. This is after six, seven years of constant bullying from him. You don’t say that about my baby. I was quiet for so long.”

According to the “Sister Code” star, the only thing she got from West was fame and that she had to deal with the heartbreak that came with it. Their rough relationship inspired Kim Kardashian’s husband’s Grammy-winning 2010 album “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.” Rose considered it as part of history and that she was happy to be part of it, but it was not the great time for her. “I’m famous, and I’m broke. I can’t date anyone else. I can’t say anything on the internet because Kanye has such a voice. If I was going to kill myself, I would have done it during those times,” “The Amber Rose Show” host explained.

Last year, West attacked Rose’s ex-husband, Wiz Khalifa in a Twitter tirade. In one of his tweets, he wrote “4^th you let a stripper trap you,” which many believed was referring to stripper-turned-model Rose, whom he also dated from 2008 to 2010. Rose reacted, “Awww @kanyewest are u mad I’m not around to play in ur [explicit] anymore? #FingersInTheBootyA--B----.”

Meanwhile, Rose remained friends with her ex-husband. In fact, in one interview, she said that her “real love” was her husband, Khalifa. Rose even referred the “See You Again” rapper as the “love of my life” and the “absolutely” only person she’s been in love and still loves, Daily News reported.
