Amber Rose's 2015 Tweet About Kanye West, Kardashians Resurfaces: 'Kim Nor Her Sisters Deserved That'
Amber Rose has addressed a resurfaced tweet in which she had called out her ex-boyfriend Kanye West, and added how the Kardashians would "humiliate" the rapper.
"I'll leave that up to the Kartrashians to humiliate u when they're done with u," Rose had tweeted in February 2015, which was shared over the weekend by a Twitter user.
Rose took to Instagram Stories on Sunday to respond to the old tweet, a screenshot of which was then shared on Twitter by a social media user.
"Man F--k that old a-- tweet I never got an apology for his '30 Showers" 'comment but f--k it. I started my sl-twalk and helped millions of women around the world stand up for themselves against Sl-t shaming so something amazing came out of it," she wrote.
The 38-year-old model further encouraged her fans to stop sharing the tweet further, considering the fact it was old and admitting she shouldn't have dragged the Kardashians' name in it.
"Kim nor her sisters deserved that tweet and y'al shouldn't co-sign that either. Sh-t was old and immature af of me to involve the KarDASHians in the mess HE made," she added. "Moving forward... Learn from my mistakes. We all have kids and family's life is hard enough right now for a lot of ppl."
She concluded, "I just wanna spread love and positivity - Muva."
The 44-year-old rapper had commented on Rose in 2015 during his appearance on "The Breakfast Club."
"It’s very hard for a woman to want to be with someone that’s with Amber Rose — I had to take 30 showers before I got with Kim," he said at that time. "She’s just soaking in the moment. Don’t nobody feel compelled to do nothing. If Kim had like dated me when I first wanted to be with her, there wouldn’t be an Amber Rose."
Rose’s recent comments came amid Kim Kardashian and West’s divorce drama. The 41-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashian" star filed for divorce from her estranged husband West in February 2021.
On the work front, Rose will be next seen in a comedy movie, titled "Cameron and Eddie Lose the Belt," which is currently under pre-production. The movie is helmed by director Mike Soccio.+
