‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ Cast Trailer Released; Watch Chilling Season 5 ‘Hallways’ Promo Video Here

It’s finally here! After a series of teaser trailers for the upcoming fifth season of “American Horror Story,” FX released the first full cast trailer for “Hotel.”

The new video, titled “Hallways,” was released by the network at 1 p.m. ET on Thursday, Sept. 10. Watch it below:

Featured throughout the video are small children with blonde hair. The first actors to appear in the trailer are Chlöe Sevigny and Wes Bentley, who star as husband and wife Alex and John Lowe. Alex is a pediatrician, while John is a detective investigating a string of murders. The case takes him to Hotel Cortez. The teaser trailer cuts to a blender full of what appears to be blood, and a man trapped inside a mattress. The mattress folds down, introducing viewers to Sarah Paulson's drug addict character Hypodermic Sally, and her nemesis, hotel manager Iris, played by Kathy Bates. Fans then get a quick look at Denis O'Hare's character, a cross-dressing bar employee named Liz Taylor. Angela Bassett's sexy character, Ramona Royale, struts down the hallway next ... with a boytoy on a leash.

Down another hallway is Matt Bomer in character as Donovan, a resident of the hotel and the son of Iris. The video first cuts to him -- with a gloved hand -- in a chair, but then holding the hands of two small children. A look through a peep hole takes viewers back in time to what appears to be a laundry room. It's there that "American Horror Story" fans get their first glimpse at Evan Peters as Mr. James March, the man who founded Hotel Cortez in the 1930s.

Finally, the video concludes with Cheyenne Jackson's character Will Drake walking past an elevator with Finn Wittrock's nale model character, Tristan. In between them is a woman in a white dress and long veil ... Lady Gaga's Countess Elizabeth, the new owner of Hotel Cortez.

As mentioned earlier, this is not the first video released for Season 5 of the anthology series. A total of seven teasers for “Hotel” have been released so far, however the videos have not featured any of the cast members in character. “Hallways” is the first video to show the cast in character.

“American Horror Story: Hotel” stars returning franchise cast members Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Denis O’Hare, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, Chlöe Sevigny and Finn Wittrock. Season 5 will also feature some fresh faces, including model Daomi Campbell, Darren Criss (“Glee”), singer Lady Gaga, Max Greenfield (“New Girl”), Cheyenne Jackson (“30 Rock”) and Richard T. Jones (“Hawaii Five-O”).

“Hotel” will also connect to another “American Horror Story” season – the “Murder House.” Actress Christine Estabrook, who was featured in Season 1 as a realtor named Marcy, will reappear. The “Murder House” will also be featured in an episode, although it’s not clear how it will tie in or what characters might visit.

“American Horror Story: Hotel” premieres on FX on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 10 p.m. ET.
