‘American Horror Story’ Rumors: Emma Roberts Is A Witch On ‘AHS’ Set, Told Off By Gabourey Sidibe For Diva Behavior, Report Says
Emma Roberts doesn’t just play a witch on TV, she is now being accused of acting like one in real life too.
According to a new report from Star magazine, the 22-year-old actress, who plays movie star witch Madison on the program, has been nothing short of a nightmare on the set of FX’s “American Horror Story.” Allegedly, the season three star’s behavior has become so intolerable that her co-star, actress Gabourey Sidibe, who plays “human voodoo doll” witch Queenie, has even called her out for her actions.
“Gabby finally told Emma to cut her attitude and stop being rude,” an insider told the magazine, claiming the actress, daughter of actor Eric Roberts and niece of Julia Roberts, has since cleaned up her act but stills reportedly “acts like she’s above everyone else.”
According to the report, the feud between the actresses erupted due to Roberts' diva behavior on set. “Emma complains about the tiniest things and won’t speak to crew members,” added the insider.
While Roberts is reportedly on the outs with one of her co-stars, the former Nickelodeon child star still appears to be getting along well with “American Horror Story” creator, writer and producer Ryan Murphy. “Kyle has been a bad boy,” Murphy posted on Twitter Oct. 13 alongside a photo of Roberts smiling with her “American Horror Story” co-star and off-screen boyfriend, actor Evan Peters.
Despite reports of recent on-set drama, Roberts recently dished about how thrilled she was to be a part of the hit supernatural series, telling Clevver News at the season three premiere of “American Horror Story” that filming the show has been a lifelong dream come true. “This year is so fun because its coven, and when I was younger I was obsessed with witch movies and ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” said Roberts. “To be on a TV show playing a witch is pretty much one of my biggest childhood dreams come true.”
“American Horror Story” airs Wednesdays on FX at 10 p.m. ET.
