‘American Horror Story’ Season 4: Ryan Murphy Confirms ‘Freak Show’; Tweets First Photo
The fourth season of “American Horror Story” is no longer a mystery. Co-creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed the title of Season 4 of the hit FX anthology: “Freak Show.”
The fun font is reminiscent of circus-style lettering.
Murphy’s announcement comes a week after a writer for “American Horror Story” teased that a carnival/ circus theme wasn’t far off from the Season 4 storyline.
“I don’t have a title, but that’s the idea,” Douglas Petrie said in a Nerdist Writers' Panel podcast in reference to the “Carnival/ Circus” rumors. “Very roughly, that’s the idea.”
No official cast list has been yet released, but series regulars Jessica Lange and Sarah Paulson are expected to return to the miniseries. Meanwhile, Lily Rabe’s status on the FX show is up in the air because she was recently cast in ABC's alien invasion drama pilot “The Visitors.”
