‘American Horror Story’ Season 4 Spoilers: New Character To Appear In ‘Freak Show’ Episode 8; See First Photos Of Chrissy Metz
“American Horror Story” fans might still be mourning Ma Petite (Jyoti Amge), but a new character will be introduced in episode 8 of “Freak Show.” Photos from the upcoming episode, “Blood Bath,” have been released, teasing an unfamiliar face for Season 4.
Fans of the hit FX miniseries will meet Ima, played by newcomer Chrissy Metz. Information about the character has not been released, but photos from “Blood Bath” shed a little light on the new role.
Unlike Dandy (Finn Wittrock) and Gloria (Francis Conroy), Ima appears to be one of the “freaks.” The images from episode 8 show her at the main tent with a large spread of food in front of her. What appear to be breads, casseroles, meats, sandwiches and cupcakes are lined up as the character digs into a plate. Two other photos show Ima with Elsa (Jessica Lange). The freak show ringleader appears to be pampering Ima, wrapping a napkin around her to prevent food from falling on her dress.
As we previously reported, “Blood Bath” will find Ethel (Kathy Bates) growing suspicious of Elsa after “recent disappearances.” Although the camp doesn’t know that Del (Michael Chiklis) killed Ma Petite for Stanley (Denis O’Hare), Ethel is keeping a close eye on Elsa thanks to her attempt to get rid of Bette and Dot (Sarah Paulson). It also doesn’t help that Ethel overheard Elsa and Stanley discussing sending the twins to Chicago or mercy killing them.
In addition to Elsa’s growing troubles, episode 8 will also find Gloria making a “last ditch effort to contain Dandy’s bloodlust.” But how does all this tie to new character Ima? “American Horror Story” fans will have to wait and see, but it’s important to note that the title for episode 9 on Dec. 10 is called “The Fat Lady Sings.”
Episode 8 of "American Horror Story: Freal Show" will air on FX on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 10 p.m. EST. What are your thoughts on the new Season 4 character? Tweet your thoughts to @AmandaTVScoop.
