Kelly Clarkson may have had a few regrets in life but none as big as doing the movie “From Justin to Kelly.” The singer even jokingly threatened to fire her child's nanny if the woman ever shows it to River Rose.

It’s no secret that the former "American Idol" winner regrets doing “From Justin to Kelly,” a movie she filmed with fellow "Idol" alum Justin Guarini in 2003. It seems that Clarkson is still haunted by that project, reports E!News.

The “Heartbreak Song” singer shares: "I have a little joke with our nanny, because she told me she loves that movie. She was like, 'My roommate and I used to watch it all the time! I'm totally going to show your daughter From Justin to Kelly.' I'm like, 'I will fire you.'"

“From Justin to Kelly” is Clarkson’s only acting project and is something she likes to pretend never happened. The singer revealed to Us Weekly in February how she cried for an hour and pleaded to be let out of the contract that stated she had to film the movie.

Rolling Stone even asked Clarkson on Thursday if she would burn all existing copies of “From Justin to Kelly.” The singer laughed and replied: “No, I think I would have to own it first. But that is something I will look into.” But even if acting may not be her cup of tea, Clarkson revealed to the magazine how she loves watching movies. Apparently it’s one of her favorite things to do during her time off, along with playing board games with her family.

Clarkson recently ended her six-album deal with RCA Records and is loving her newfound freedom. Even though she has no clue what’s coming next, she still thinks it’s going to be fun. "I haven't ever been able to pick who to work with as an artist, so it's nice now that it's a choice. It'll be cool to 'Breakaway,' for lack of a better term, and see what's out there.” She adds, “If I want to make a country record, I'll make a country record. If I want to make an R&B record, I'll make that. I've made enough money in my career. This is just the cherry on top."
