American Music Awards 2017: Live Stream, Red Carpet, Nominees And Performances
The American Music Awards are finally here, and it’ll be an exciting night for music fans. Luckily, we have all the info you will need ahead of the big show.
Watching: If you want to watch the 2017 AMAs on TV, you’ll need to tune into ABC. The alphabet network will broadcast the ceremony, which will be hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross, live from the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. EST. The west coast will have to wait until 8 p.m. PST to see the show.
Those who prefer to watch online can simply head to ABC’s website or app to live stream the AMAs. However, those who watch via live stream will need login information from their cable provider.
Red Carpet: What’s an awards show without a little fashion? Musicians always take fun risks on the red carpet, and fans can see those daring choices when the official AMAs pre-show starts at 6 p.m. EST. Audiences will only be able to watch it via live stream on the AMAs Twitter page.
Those who prefer to watch their red carpet coverage on TV can tune into E!. The network will have their standard “Live from the Red Carpet” special ahead of the event.
Performances: A music awards show guarantees some fun performances. Powerhouse pop divas Kelly Clarkson and Pink will perform together for the first time at the 2017 American Music Awards. Christina Aguilera will perform a tribute to Whitney Houston in honor of the “Bodyguard” movie’s 25th anniversary and Diana Ross will take the stage as she is honored with a lifetime achievement award.
Other performers include BTS, Alessia Cara and Zedd, Selena Gomez, Niall Horan, Imagine Dragons and Khalid, Nick Jonas, Lady Gaga, Demi Lovato, Shawn Mendes, Portugal. The Man, Hailee Steinfeld and Alesso featuring Florida Georgia Line and watt.
Those who need even more performances can tune into Xfinity On Demand to see Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line’s encore performance. The performance will also be available on Xfinity’s website.
