'American Reunion' Full Trailer: Stifler, Jim and the Gang Return for more Pie [VIDEO]
American Pie fans, get ready for American Reunion, the much-anticipated fourth film of the raunchy teen comedy series.
On Tuesday, Universal Pictures released the full, green-band trailer for the film, out Apr. 6, 2012.
The entire gang, led by Jim (Jason Biggs), Michelle (Alyson Hannigan) and Stifler (Seann William Scott), is back for a reunion in the hometown they graduated from 12 years ago.
Oz (Chris Klein), Heather (Mena Suvari), John (John Cho), Vicky (Tara Reid) and all of the original cast members from American Pie reprise their roles in the new film.
Despite mixed reviews, American Pie surprised many fans and critics alike in 1999, grossing more than $235 million at the box office (the film was made on a budget of only $11 million).
Its sequel, American Pie 2 (2001) and third installment, American Wedding (2003), performed equally well at the box office, grossing more than $287 million and $231 million, respectively.
The arrival of the green-band trailer comes just two weeks after Universal released a red-band trailer for the film.
In American Reunion, Jim and Michelle are all grown up with a two-year-old child, Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas) is married, Jim's dad (Eugene Levy) is single, and Stifler's mom (Jennifer Coolidge) is still hanging around.
Meanwhile, Stifler is still interested in high school girls and beach parties.
I love the 'Twilight' books . . . 'New Moon' is my favorite . . . it's like, we have so much in common! Stifler says to a group of girls in one scene.
Since the first American Pie, some members of the cast have gone on to succeed in films and TV shows, while others have fallen through the cracks.
Hannigan, 37, is perhaps the most successful American Pie cast member. The actress continued with her role as Willow on Buffy the Vampire Slayer until the show ended in 2003. And since 2005, Hannigan has been playing Lily Aldrin on CBS' hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother.
Biggs on the other hand, has starred in a number of forgettable films, including the straight-to-DVD animated picture Farce of the Penguins with Christina Applegate and Bob Saget. In May, Biggs' sitcom True Love was cancelled after one season on the air.
In late-October, Tara Reid revealed that her summer wedding to a Bulgarian businessman was bogus, as they were not legally married. Over the years, Reid's presence in Hollywood has ranged from sloppy party girl to a poster girl for failed plastic surgeries.
