‘America’s Got Talent’ 13: Judge Cuts Week 4 Results Released; Who Survived?
“America’s Got Talent” Season 13 just named the last seven contestants that will compete in the live show next week.
On Tuesday, 18 acts performed in front of judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel, and guest judge Chris Hardwick. Unfortunately, 11 of them were sent home from the NBC show.
The results weren’t as surprising as last week’s episode because those that did well during the Judge Cuts rounds were the ones that secured a spot in the live show. Last week, two young singers, namely, Jeffrey Li and Angel Garcia, sang their hearts out but they didn’t survive.
This week, dance group Da Republik made it past the Judge Cuts. The group will be joined by sensational electric violinist Brian King Joseph, Diabolo Lord Nil, singer Glennis Grace, comedian Samuel J. Comroe, and hilarious shirtless duo Yumbo Dump.
Hardwick gave his golden buzzer to 14-year-old rapper Flau’jae. The teenager sang an original song that left all of the judges in awe. During her first audition, Flau’jae also won the hearts of Cowell, Klum, Mel B, and Mandel after she performed an original track about gun violence.
The 11 acts that performed on Tuesday night but didn’t make it through to the live show were hip-hop dance crew Academy of Villains, transgender singer Brody Ray, Diabolo group Diabolowalker, contortionist Troy James, incredible zebra guy Elijah Holt, quick-change couple Sixto & Lucia, and daredevil act Sergey and Sasha.
Next week, “America’s Got Talent” Season 13 will introduce its Wild Card contestant. There are predictions that either Li or Garcia will make it to the live show. However, Gold Derby also noted that opera singer Daniel Emmet or animal impersonator Lily Wilker may be given the chance to compete on the hit reality TV competition.
Unfortunately, there can only be one Wild Card contestant, and the judges typically make their decision before the first live show airs. However, the name of the contestant is only announced during the live show, and it is always final.
The winner of “America’s Got Talent” Season 13 will bring home the $1 million grand prize and will headline a show in Las Vegas.
