‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 11 Winner Grace Vanderwaal To Perform ‘I Don’t Know My Name’ On ‘Live With Kelly’
“America’s Got Talent” Season 11 winner Grace Vanderwaal recently revealed that she will be performing on “Live With Kelly” on Monday, Jan. 16.
On her Instagram account, the 13-year-old Suffern native announced that she will be singing “I Don’t Know My Name.” Vanderwaal first performed the original song when she auditioned on “America’s Got Talent” Season 11 in front of judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel. The same song is part of Vanderwaal’s EP, “Perfectly Imperfect.”
Other than her upcoming appearance on “Live With Kelly,” the “Clay” singer is not scheduled to sing on any other shows in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, NBC is now scouting for new performers who could win the $1 million grand prize in “America’s Got Talent” Season 12. On Saturday, Jan. 14, the producers and staff of the reality TV show went to the Pennsylvania Convention Center to look for talented individuals who could be part of the show. Hundreds of people swarmed the venue, according to Philly. A lot of magicians auditioned that day in hopes of becoming the next Jon Dorenbos. The Eagles long snapper may have lost to Vanderwaal, but he definitely gained popularity and respect after his stint in “America’s Got Talent.”
In the coming weeks, auditions will be held in Las Vegas on Jan. 19, New York on Jan. 27, Charleston on Feb. 1, Memphis on Feb. 4 and Los Angeles on Feb. 11, according to the show’s official site. Las Vegas auditions will take place at Bally’s Las Vegas. New York auditions will be held at Queens College, while Charleston auditions will take place at the Embassy Suites Charleston Area Convention Center. Memphis auditions will be held at the Memphis Cook Convention Center. Los Angeles auditions will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
“America’s Got Talent” Season 12 will premiere on NBC sometime in May.
