‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 11 Winner Grace Vanderwaal Shares Homeschooling Photo Via Instagram
“America’s Got Talent” Season 11 winner Grace Vanderwaal has been juggling work and school after she became the grand winner of the hit NBC reality TV show last year.
On her Instagram account, the 13-year-old singer shared a photo of herself studying at home. She is seated in front of a computer listening to a lecture by one of her teachers online.
After bringing home the $1 million grand prize, Vanderwaal went on to headline a series of shows in Las Vegas. She also released an EP, titled “Perfectly Imperfect,” which rose to the top of the Billboard and iTunes music charts. The “Clay” singer also appeared on several talk shows, including the “Ellen Show” and “Good Morning America.”

Most recently, she was nominated in The Freshest category at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards. Vanderwaal is up against Noah Cyrus, Julia Michaels, Jon Bellion and Jordan Fisher. Fans of the “Beautiful Thing” singer can vote for Vanderwaal online on Radio Disney Music Awards’ official website.
In other news, Vanderwaal is also busy working at the studio on her upcoming full album. In an interview with Bustle last month, Vanderwaal confirmed that she’s composing original songs for her first full-length album. “It’s kind of a work in progress. It’s not even close to done, but it’s coming up, and I’m so excited about it. It’s gonna be the fun, cool, awesome one. I’m really excited,” she said.
Vanderwaal added that the sounds and themes of her upcoming album will be very different from the songs featured in “Perfectly Imperfect.” “I want to put a little more into this one, a little more depth,” she said.
As of now, Vanderwaal’s full-length album has no official release date.
