‘America’s Got Talent’, ‘World Of Dance’ Get Release Dates Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

NBC’s reality shows “America’s Got Talent” and “World Dance” are returning this summer.
Several fans have been waiting for “AGT” Season 15 and “World of Dance” Season 4. NBC is pleased to announce that the two big reality shows will be returning on May 26, Deadline first reported.
“AGT” Season 15 will premiere on May 26 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. It will return with Sofia Vergara joining the panel of judges composed of Heidi Klum, Simon Cowell, and Howie Mandel. Terry Crews will also return as the show’s host.
“We are so proud to present a 15th season of ‘America’s Got Talent’ this summer,” said Cowell, who also serves as executive producer.
“This show represents the best in perseverance, creativity and optimism. At a time when families are unable to go out we really hope the new season will bring some much-needed joy and escape.”
NBC announced on its website earlier that “AGT” is coming this summer. There have been rumors that it will arrive next month and the network just confirmed it.
The “Modern Family” star who will be joining the show for the very first time is already excited. Vergara took to Instagram to share her excitement with her followers.
"I am so happy to join my new family on @agt. This is a new and exciting next chapter for me and I’m extremely proud to be the first Latin judge on the show. I can’t wait to watch all the new talent and have fun with all you guys!" Vergara wrote on Instagram to announce her role on the reality show.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez is also very happy that her dancing reality show is coming back next month. It will also premiere on May 26 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
The show offers dancers the opportunity to showcase their talents on the dance floor and win $1 million along with the title of being the best dancer in the world. Lopez, Ne-Yo and Derek Hough will return as judges and Scott Evans as host.
“I’m so excited ‘World of Dance’ is back this summer with a new crop of incredible dancers,” said Lopez, who also serves as executive producer. “On our show we always say that dance is the universal language. It brings us all together, which I think is something we all need during these challenging times.”
