'Among Us' Airship Map Update Includes A Massive Surprise For Fans

After a few months of anticipation, "Among Us" fans will finally get their hands on the much-awaited major game update called Airship map. While Innersloth already revealed the release date of the fresh content, it seemingly has a lot of surprises up its sleeves. Among these are the latest free items the game developer confirmed just recently.

The new surprise was shared by the game developer on the official Twitter account of "Among Us." The tweet claimed that the new Airship map would come with "a few free hats." Additionally, fans will also get the Angry Eyebrows. Unfortunately, it is still not clear which hats would be given out to fans for free.

The Airship map will be the fourth playable stage available in the game. " It joins the Skeld, Polus and Mira HQ on March 31. Each of the playable stages in the game features distinct tasks and characteristics but the upcoming map would be a major departure from the previous ones. When fans decide to play on the upcoming map, they have the ability to select where they want to begin instead of the customary practice of everyone starting together.

A new set of tasks will be introduced in the new playable "Among Us" stage, including wiggling a bag of trash out of the bin and polishing a massive gemstone. Crewmates should familiarize themselves with this new set of tasks if they want to prevent getting stabbed in the back while doing the chores.

Interestingly, the new Airship map is littered with ladders and shortcuts. It also comes with a moving platform that transports players from one point to another in a surprisingly slow manner. On top of those, Innersloth promised new cosmetics and new kill animations to match the Airship map's theme.

The upcoming "Among Us" Airship map is scheduled to come out on March 31. Innersloth makes good of its promise that it would roll out the new map in the early part of the year. The new playable stage was announced last year at The Game Awards alongside a trailer.
