A brawl broke out between amputee players at a Holland vs. Belgium European soccer charity match after one player tripped the other. All of the players used crutches or synthetic legs to participate in the match due to being amputees. While the match was initially going well, a fallen player tripped another amputee, purposefully starting the brawl.

The trip caused the other players to join in, facing off, shouting at each other and then finally pushing one another and starting an all-out fight. Referees attempted to stop the fight, but that was short-lived as able-bodied spectators joined in the brawl, pulling the amputee players out of the way to throw punches at the other spectators who joined in the fight.
