Amy Duggar King Reveals Which Duggar Cousin She Keeps In Touch With

Amy King, the estranged niece of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar of "19 Kids And Counting" fame, has opened up about her relationship with her famous relatives and revealed that she stays in touch with one of her cousins.

Amy was known as the "rebel" in her conservative family for having a different set of ideals compared to her extended relatives. She was open to wearing shorts and tank tops and having boyfriends, things that the Duggars stayed away from.

Although she does not see eye to eye with the Duggars on many topics, Amy told Entertainment Tonight that she was "happy" for the reality stars.

"I think we are all just trying to find our path, and we're all just doing things differently," Amy said in the article released on Wednesday (July 1).

"I'm doing things differently and I'm happy where I'm at. I'm happy for them," she added. "Things are definitely different, but I'm happy for everybody."

Amy also shared that she was content with her life, which includes a restaurant business ”that's expanding” and “a boutique that's doing well.”

The 33-year-old, who welcomed a son with husband Dillon King in October last year, revealed that Jill (Duggar) Dillard is the only member of her extended family whom she stays in touch with. "Jill and I text, not on a daily basis, but we text quite often," Amy shared. "And we discuss things."

Like Amy, Jill has also not been on good terms with Jim Bob and Michelle. Jill's more liberal lifestyle is said to have caused the rift with her parents.

Amy has largely stayed away from talking about her famous relatives. Just recently, she revealed that she has to watch what she says about the Duggars due to a non-disclosure agreement.

During Amy's Instagram Live session with her mom, Deanna Duggar, in June, a fan commented, "Rescue Jana."

Jana, the oldest daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle, has been dubbed by fans as the "Cinderella Duggar" because she has remained at home to take care of her younger siblings while the older ones have gotten married and have started their own families.

When Amy saw this and started speaking about Jana, her mom reminded her of the NDA. Amy then laughed and said: “Stop! You’re going to get us in trouble!”
