The famed British singer Amy Winehouse was found dead at the young age of 27 years in her London home. There has been no official release about the cause of death yet rumors have risen linking to to drugs and alcohol.
Winehouse has been notoriously linked to her troubles with drug and alcohol in the public scene. YouTube and photos online depict the singer performing drunk on stage as well as smoking cocaine. The singer admitted herself into rehabilitation but that did little to stray her from alcohol addictions.
Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death...At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained, reported police.
We are deeply saddened at the sudden loss of such a gifted musician, artist, performer and friend. Our prayers go out to Amy's family, friends and fans at this difficult time, wrote a spokesman from Universal Music Group.
More tragic is the fact that Winehouse was only 27 years old and coincidentally joins a group of top music stars who died at that same age. Check out photos of Amy Winehouse along with other musicians whose lives ended too soon.
